cheapest way to get a cingular cell phone today?

My Cingular cell phone just broke today and I need to get a new one asap and can’t afford to spend lot’s of money.
Are there online coupons? Any student discounts? Am I better going to Cingular or better going to one of those stores that sells all cell phone plans?
I already have a plan.
I just need to replace the phone.
It’s the material possession part that I need the cheapest path.

better going off and going somewhere like wal-mart and getting on of those cingular phones that have a pay-as-you-go plans the phones are pretty cheap to but still look nice
go to bell or rogers and talk to the sales person.
I got a bell mobility. the phone was under $100, and the plan I got was no plan- just to add calling cards to the phone, so you dont get a bill in the mail
If you aren’t on a contract, you can sign up for a year - or 3 and get a free phone. If you don’t want to sign up for a contract they will give you a discount on the phone. You can even pay for your phone over the course of a year or 5, they add a bit onto your monthly bill.
If your phone is still under warranty, they will fix it for free or replace it, and give you a replacement phone while you are waiting for repairs.
